Opening day for the tennis courts was held on Saturday 7th October, 2017
The courts are now officially opened for another summer season. Good luck to all tennis players - social and competition

MDTC members agreed (via a special vote) that the Tennis Australia proposal to redevelop the courts may proceed
As recently reported in the Advertiser, redevelopment work is expected to commence later this year (2017).

Eastern District Tennis Association (EDTA) - matches begin on Saturday, October 7th
Most other associations start on Saturday, October 14th
Midweek Ladies commence on Thursday, October 19th
Saturday Morning Men's Lawn Tennis Association (SMMLTA) start date - Saturday, October 28th http://smmlta.com/

Internal Social Competition

Register your interest in the MDTC internal social competition starting on Wednesday 4/October!
This social competition will be taking place on Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks from 4/Oct/2017. The ‘teams’ will be graded according to weekly results and the format will consist of 3 sets of fast 4 tennis each with a different partner. It will commence at 7pm and finish at 8.30pm. It is open for all levels of tennis and it is an opportunity for club members to meet each other and have some fun!
Prizes awarded at the conclusion of the event!
